Mandi Dolan

Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development

Born and raised in Appomattox County, Mandi is one with a passion for youth development and a lifetime of 4-H experience. With her early days as a Clover Bud camper to her most recent employment at the Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center in North Carolina, Mandi has a wide variety of camping and 4-H background. Her major areas of programming within 4-H include Interstate Exchange, Shooting Education, Public Speaking, Share the Fun, and of course, camp as a Teen Leader, Adult Volunteer, and Summer Staff member.

Mandi graduated from Lynchburg College with a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Biology and Theatre. During her time at Lynchburg College, Mandi worked in the Office of International and Multicultural Services and helped plan and implement the Summer Transition Program for first-year students. Mandi also worked in the Office of Intramural and Club Sports where she worked closely with on campus sport clubs to assist the teams in their endeavors.

In her spare time, Mandi enjoys photography and dance. She was a member of Lynchburg College Dance Works all four years of college as a member and in leadership roles. She is an active volunteer within her hometown of Appomattox, specifically at Elon Baptist Church within the children and youth ministries.
